India to face India A in England ahead of Test series in July
Reportedly India will take on India A in England during the practice game in England ahead of the Test series in July later this year. The four-day practice game will be played at the County Ground in Northamptonshire.

The story
In an interesting build-up India will clash with India A in England in the four-day practice match before the Test series in July. Northamptonshire will host the match but the dates of the same are yet to be revealed. Post that Indian cricket team will be taking on the England side in August and September for five Test matches with the first game being played at Nottingham on August 4. "Some of the world's finest international cricketers will be on show at The County Ground this summer as we welcome India and India A," Northamptonshire County Cricket Club said in a statement late on Wednesday.

The news of Indian national cricket team taking on India A for the practice has amused the fans. The Australia series gave a glimpse of the reserve bench Indian cricket team currently boasts of and showed the importance of India A tour. The release further added, "Ahead of India's five test series against England in August, Virat Kohli's Indian side take on India A in a four-day warmup fixture that promises to be a showcase of high-quality cricket."

The schedule

"The Indian national cricket team tour party will then travel to Leicestershire the following week for a second warmup fixture beginning the 28th of July," the statement continued. The second warm-up match of the tour is scheduled in Leicestershire on July 28. Post the Nottingham Test match, second and fourth Tests of the tour will be held in London- from August 12 to 16 and from September 2 to 6. The third match of the series will be in Leeds from August 25 to 29 and fifth one will be played in Manchester from September 10 to 14
